Ifの省略と倒置

倒置とはS、Vの順番で構成されている文が、V→Sの順番になること。
仮定法の倒置で、文頭に置けるのは、were、had、shouldだけ。
作り方は以下。
①ifを消す。
②were、had、shouldだけを主語の前に置く。
③過去分詞、not、to不定詞、動詞の原形はそのままにする。
・wereの場合:If it were not for your help, we wouldn't  go home.
→ Were it not for your help, we wouldn't  go home
・hadの場合:If I had had enough time, I could have gotten on a train.
→Had I had enough time, I could have gotten on a train.
・shouldの場合:If you should have any questions, please call us.
→Should you have any questions, please call us.
となるよ。
